This unique eco-tourism resort, situated just 30 minutes from the heart of Dubai, is part of the multi-billion dollar urban complex, Dubailand. Al Sahra – set in 40 million sq.ft. of undulating sand, it offers an experience of a lifetime. A light, laser, sound and pyrotechnics extravaganza staged in an imposing amphitheatre, built in the style of an ancient Arabic settlement with seating for 1,200 spectators. The amphitheatre façade encompasses a traditional craft souk surrounded by indigenous regional flora and fauna, in a typical desert oasis setting. There is also a Bedouin-style working farm with live animals and a date plantation, a camel farm and stables.

The Oasis Lodge allows visitors to experience Arabian hospitality and culture, arts and crafts in an environment featuring typical clay plastered stone pillars, arched structures and Barasti huts made of woven palm fronds, providing 5-star luxury in the heart of the desert.
